Curriculum for new TOY coaches (IO1)

The curriculum development process was lead by Estonian partner. The starting point was the Finnish 5-day training about the TOY model (visiting TOY users in SASKY schools, visiting of ProAcademy of Tampere where they use the teampreneurship methodology in training entrepreneurs at 3-year program; and teamlearning TOY principles with other participants). The Finnish training was then analyzed and developed further into a longer curriculum which supports better the participants in the long term. There were three main further inputs of this IO: TOY piloting in the consortium in 2017, TOY 5-year experiences of Estonian partner and cooperation with Tartu University.

 

The first piloting of took part in Oct 2018-May 2019. The second one in June-Nov 2019. The usage of this product is open to everyone, but it demands the presence of certified Team coaches (like Tiimiakatemia Global certificate) and experience of TOY or teampreneurship usage for at least 5 years.

A training programme for the teachers or counsellors who would like to use team coaching tools and skills for teaching entrepreneurship with learning-by-doing methodology at all educational levels integrating as many other subjects of studies as possible. The curriculum includes 56-72 hours of contact lessons and 100 hours of independent work. The usage of the training programme is open to everyone, but it demands the presence of certified Team coaches (like Tiimiakatemia Global certificate) and experience of TOY or teampreneurship usage for at least 5 years.

The PowerPoint presentation comprises 80 slides and it is an example of an “express TOY coach training” carried out in 5 days introducing:

– the study visits and how they were reflected on

– the concepts of dialogue, coaching and team building
